Friends of John H. Johnson Museum

The mission of the Friends of John H. Johnson Museum is to recognize and celebrate John H. Johnson Day annually in November through high quality events and activities; and to foster positive collaborations honoring and observing John H. Johnson’s life and legacy through a curated living history museum with collections, exhibits, programming, and engagement for the community and visitors.

It is also our collective vision to invigorate a strong sense of connectability with the Museum to the general public by acknowledging a significant part of history with others; and in doing so, to share with others and inspire others to learn more about an Arkansas pioneer who made his mark through national and international multimedia, entrepreneurial and philanthropic endeavors.
